ST. JOSEPH NIVAS SPECIAL SCHOOL FOR THE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY CHALLENGED
Founded in 2001 with a deep sense of compassion and commitment, St. Joseph Nivas Special School began its mission in Chikkakamanahalli, Bangalore with just six children—Aruna, Sindhu, Roja, Antony Mary, Velankanni, and Johnson—all of whom had both physical and intellectual challenges. What began as a small initiative has now grown into a thriving center of care and education for nearly 65 children with intellectual disabilities.
At the heart of the school’s mission is the unwavering dedication of the Sisters, who devote themselves wholeheartedly to the well-being and development of these special children. Many of the students come from economically disadvantaged families in nearby villages, where access to specialized care is limited. The Sisters provide not just education, but also nourishment, therapy, emotional support, and unconditional love.

A Daily Journey of Love
